We recently heard from Steve Choate, who worked for Osco, American Drug Stores and American Stores from 1982 up through 1999. Steve was a category manager based at 1818 Oak Brook, Illinois and in 1995 joined corporate human resouces in Salt Lake City, Utah becomng the Director of Benefits Planning and Distribution for all American Stores Company divisions.
In 1997, Steve became a national procurement manager for American Procurement and Logistics Company (a subsidiary of American Stores). After leaving American Stores in 1999, Steve became a category manager for Rite Aidand relocated to Pennsylvania. In 2008, Steve joined Roundy’s Supermarket, Inc.
Yes, we are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'm a Senior Category Manager overseeing all general merchandise for Roundy's. I also have direct buying responsibility for Seasonal, Greeting Cards and Candles. It's nice to be back in the Midwest after almost 14 years. It's nice being closer to our families in Iowa.
