Jake Jackson...Claudia and I have been married for 49 years, the love of my life. We had quite a ride through the years and are now retired in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on 5 acres overlooking Lake Norfork. North central Arkansas is home to the Buffalo River ( the 1st National park river in USA) it is know for it's natural beauty, floating and small mouth fishing).

There are 3 world class trout rivers, the White, Norfork and Spring. There are also two Corp of engineers Lakes, Bull Shoals and Norfork (my home lake) all within a hour drive? Talk about a great place to live if you enjoy the outdoors. I stay busy Gardening, Boating, Fishing, Hunting and an occasional round of golf ( have to keep tuned up for the Mallard Outing). The Mallard's have flocked together for 27 consecutive years. The group consists of : Tom Dieterle, Tom Friend, John Eversman, Bob potter, Dave Schoenbeck, Scott Daniels, Bob Monroe, Neil Stacy and me. We meet play golf and catch up. Osco Drug was a major part of my life, "Count On People who Care " was not a slogan but a way of doing business. There were many great leaders that influenced my career, the 1st of which was Tork, early on he helped me understand expectations and execution. John Terry instilled standards and the importance consistent direction, Dennis Palmer played a key role in my development and training. My tour in Indy was exciting and fun thanks to Larry Wahlstrom and Gary Hunstiger. There were many others that had an impact on my career, too many to mention them all, Especially the Folks in the Stores( I hear them referred today as essential, they have always been essential) I could count on them "Count On People Who Care ". OH! by the way how many of you Front and Face the fridge and pantry? I'm guilty.
