Employees at some Walgreens and CVS pharmacies are walking off the job until Wednesday to protest working conditions. This is the third labor action by the pharmacy workers in a little over a month. Because they are not part of a union, the scale of the walkout is unclear. Organizers say they are "overwhelmed by calls about closed pharmacies," while the companies say they "haven't seen much of a disruption,"according to CNN. The pharmacists assert that stores are "grossly understaffed" and management expectations unreasonable, making it difficult for customers to get necessary prescriptions.
