Chuck Graefen has accepted the position of director, Business Transformation at Supervalu, reporting to Michael Moore, Business Transformation officer. In this role, Chuck will provide advisement and coaching to initiative leads and teams to ensure best practice execution of the Supervalu approach for doing initiatives well.
Chuck started as a management trainee with Osco in Chicagoland in 1984. Much of his career was spent at Osco, Albertsons and Supervalu in various roles, from store Operations roles to several positions within the Six Sigma team, including director of Six Sigma Methodology and Process Excellence lead. He is a certified master black belt in Six Sigma and brings 26 years of process improvement experience to the role. Chuck returns to Supervalu from Roundy’s, where he was the director of area operations and process efficiency.
