Zipline International to start next year in Charlotte, N.C., pending FFA approval.
The Aerial Drones carry loads up to 4 lbs. about 10 miles from the Zipline Distribution Center to local pharmacies in 15 to 30 minutes.
The pharmacy participating in the pilot was not disclosed by Cardinal Health.
Walmart, CVS, Walgreen's UPS, Merck are all testing drones for shipment of medical products.
