2024 December 24th: Gary Veneman update

The Sav-on Family has lost a great friend and partner, Gary Veneman, longtime Store Manager and Mentor to so many, who passed away on Christmas Eve of as yet unknown causes.  

We are all devastated with Gary’s passing.  Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife Shalone and their family.

This is an incomprehensible loss for the Veneman family, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. 

Gary's wife said she's planning to have a service first Saturday of March. This is still a tentative date and it could change. She will let us know when it's totally finalized. Gary's body was finally released just a few days ago and he'll be getting cremated. It will be 6 to 7 months before they know what he passed away from. This has been a total nightmare for their family. Gary’s Memorial will be Sat March 22 in Murrieta.
