The Alumni Club was recently informed that Mrs. Julia Marie (Haake) Curran 78 of Brownsburg, IN passed away July 11, 2023. Julia was born in Kansas City, MO., on May 01, 1945, to the late Donald F. and Mary Jane (Denman) Haake. Julia moved to Indianapolis in 1957. She attended the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, KS and after coming to Indianapolis she graduated from Marian University in Indianapolis, IN. Julia worked for Univac followed by 32 years as a bookkeeper for Osco Drug Stores and later as an account executive for RX America before retirement. Julia was preceded in death by her husband John Curran. She is survived by her two sons, Steven (Lisa) Curran and Gregory (Jody) Curran and her grandchild, Trevor Curran and her 8 siblings. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 15, 2023, at Noon at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway with calling from 10 am to service time. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
